Who can I see?
Menopause coaching at Hartwood Health brings our team together in a different way to traditional offerings of systemic, mental or musculoskeletal health.
Our team comprises a nurse, and dietitians, as well as our partners in Personal Training and other areas as required.
Michelle Jupp is a registered nurse, bringing 27 years of nursing care and life experience together to aid her focused role dedicated to menopause coaching. Michelle’s goal is to empower women to better understand their menopause journey from before the onset of symptoms right the way through to post-menopause.
Paula Wood is a registered dietitian with over 30 years experience. She has always been an advocate of providing realistic and practical advice to help individuals achieve better health through the right nutrition - whether this is a therapeutic diet to manage a chronic illness or condition or for optimising health.
With all the conflicting information surrounding menopause and what to eat, Paula will provide evidence-based information on how women can optimise their health with good nutrition during menopause.
Sarah Ayers is a qualified fitness instructor with 8 years of teaching experience and a lifelong passion for sports and exercise. Since the onset of perimenopause and finding her usual exercise routine wasn’t quite hitting the mark, Sarah completed a course in Exercise Strategy for Peri- to Post-menopause and is now the co-founder of MPower, an exercise course specifically designed for peri to post-menopause women.
Who should I see?
If in doubt, we would suggest starting your journey with Michelle, our menopause nurse. She is most centrally placed to offer broad advice, and where necessary, refer on to another member of our team as required.
